The Little Black Dress Event is the Women’s Ministry of Grace Through Faith Community Church. Our mission is to encourage entrepreneurship, marketplace ministry & financial literacy in the Body of Christ, so that, when we cultivate our unique gifts and talents, we are properly positioned for abundant blessing in His Kingdom.
The Little Black Dress Event isn’t a network, but a fellowship of Kingdom minded ladies who recognize that we have a seed of greatness on the inside of us, each of ours unique. We meet monthly to demonstrate, cultivate & activate our seed with the water of the Word of God. We celebrate victories, offer encouragement during challenges, and lift while we climb. We are not bosses, but we are Obedient Rulers. We believe what Matthew 25:23 says; “When we are faithful with a few things, we will be put in charge of many things...

"Purpose on The Platform" is a creative culmination of our unique gifts that were on display throughout this year's monthly meetings.
The Little Black Dress Project

We have all been given this gift called life in the form of a seed from God. This seed has been programmed to produce the fruit that is our destiny. How do we ensure that our seed develops into full and healthy fruit that produces "after it's own kind?" We do so by "putting The Word on it!"
In 2016 our focus was applying The Word of God to our life, business & gifting like never before. If we want the kind of harvest that only God can produce, we must apply the principles that come from none other than The Word of God!
The project is this:
Read:
God's word is seed, water, light and life. (Is 55:9-11)
Record:
Write the vision, make it plain. (Hab 2)
Encourage:
We are instructed to encourage one another (1 Thes 5:11)
Leave a Legacy:
Leave footprints that are easy to follow (Prov 13:22)
We will journal and chronicle our daily walk in this life. Challenges are designed to push us to The Word of God where we learn to encourage ourselves in The Lord and the power of His might. At the end of this year, we will produce enough life material to write our own devotional journal, or memoir destined to minister to the budding Kingdom Entrepreneur who is sure to come after us!
The journey has just begun, you still have time to join us, will you come?
